Already licensed or receiving supervision elsewhere, but still looking for support developing your professional identity or navigating tough clinical cases? I offer consultation and advising for clinicians at any stage of their career — from one-time second opinions to long-term weekly support. Whether you're exploring how your identities show up in your work, deepening your clinical skills, or seeking a fresh perspective, I provide a collaborative space to help you grow with confidence and clarity.

Navigating Identity in Clinical Work

Our identities — including gender, sexual/romantic orientation, race, neurotype, econmic class, and ability just to name a few — are deeply woven into how we show up as clinicians. Perhaps you’re not out at work and finding that it's impacting your ability to connect authentically. You might be wondering, “Should I disclose that I’m queer to this client?” or “What if I find out someone in my polycule is dating a client?” In consultation, we can unpack these questions with nuance and honesty, exploring how your identities shape your practice and how to make intentional decisions around disclosure, advocacy, and boundaries.

Case Conceptualization & Clinical Stuck Points

Even the most experienced clinicians can feel stuck — uncertain about how to move forward with a client or what’s really happening in the room. You may feel like “Nothing seems to be working,” or you might notice your own responses getting in the way of the work. Consultation offers space to step back and reflect on the broader picture, including how your client’s identity and environment intersect with your own lens and experience. Rather than giving you a roadmap, I’ll support you in asking deeper questions, clarifying your approach, and reconnecting with your clinical instincts.

Values Conflicts & Ethical Dilemmas

Sometimes our clients express beliefs that feel deeply misaligned with our own values — and it can be jarring. You might find yourself freezing when a client makes a transphobic or racist comment, or questioning whether you can continue to work with someone whose worldview undermines your humanity. These moments require thoughtful clinical discernment. In consultation, we can explore how to stay grounded in your ethics and integrity, while still showing up as a compassionate, effective clinician. We’ll talk about what it means to hold both boundaries and care.

Masking, Burnout & Neurodivergence in the Workplace

For neurodivergent clinicians, the emotional labor of the work — on top of navigating environments that weren’t built with us in mind — can be especially taxing. You might feel exhausted from masking, unsure whether your work is sustainable, or caught in a loop of perfectionism and burnout. Consultation offers a space to unmask, reflect on what’s draining you, and strategize ways to work in alignment with how your brain actually works. Together, we can think about accommodations, boundaries, and systems of support that help you thrive.

Skill Development & Professional Identity

Whether you’re just starting out or reimagining your clinical identity, it’s common to feel unsure about your voice as a therapist. You might be getting supervision elsewhere, but want a space that feels more aligned with your values and identities. In consultation, we can focus on skill-building, self-reflection, and growth. This is a space to explore what kind of clinician you are (or want to be), what’s working in your practice, and where you want to stretch — all in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

Working with Complex Systems

If you’re working in schools, with DCF, in residential settings, or across multiple systems, you know how messy things can get. Maybe you’re trying to advocate for a client without burning bridges, or feeling overwhelmed by the emotional toll of working within broken systems. You might ask, “How do I stay client-centered when the system is failing them?” In consultation, we can explore how to hold boundaries, advocate effectively, and support both your clients and yourself in these high-stakes settings.

Pricing

Individual Consultation is priced differently depending on whether we are meeting only a few times to tackle a specific case, or meeting on an on-going weekly basis for support in a myriad of areas. If you aren’t quite sure which one is for you, feel free to get in touch and we can sort out what will best meet your needs.

For ongoing weekly consultation, the rate is $115 per hour. If you're seeking short-term support—up to three meetings focused on the same topic or case—the rate is $150 per hour. This structure reflects the difference in preparation, focus, and scope between brief consultations and ongoing work.

Kaleidoscopes Consulting

As a clinician licensed in Massachusetts, I honor the Indigenous peoples of this land—past, present, and future—including the Massachusett, Naumkeag, Wampanoag, Pawtucket, Agawam, Nipmuc, Nonotuck, Mohican, and Pocumtuc peoples, as well as those whose names and cultures have been erased through colonization. Words alone cannot repair ongoing harm; justice is pursued through land reclamation, reparations, policy change, and sustained action.
